Entrepreneurial Grant – or Jonzee, we should say (and so should you!) – has quite the story. He left school young, cut his teeth in supermarket retail, started working for himself at 21, brought Eagle Boys pizza to WA, and journeyed through a range of state, national and international roles. It was a jaunt driving Uber that led him to the industry and to founding Build2Rent, his solution to Perth’s strained rental market. It’s quite the full circle moment. With a father who introduced a teenage Jonzee to his own transportable building company way back when, this adventurous spirit might have found his roots.

As a registered building practitioner, building manager, and administration manager; Mat’s career is one that has sustained his passion for the industry for over 15 years. Natalie Barker National Investor Experience Manager
Multi-tasking master Nat has been a part of the industry since the day she left high school. In the 12 years since she’s discovered she can administrate her way through just about anything. A Prestart? The Shire? Consider it done. She’s made it official too with a Certificate III in Business Administration. She does all of this, at once, without breaking a sweat or losing her big, bubbly smile. The secret? Two small girls at home that ensure those multi-tasking muscles are always fighting fit.

Brooklyn officially entered the industry as a receptionist 14 years ago, but her real story starts far earlier than that. Her parents had something of a thing for building, and all that time on site and around the dinner table viewing plans (she swears she saw about a billion of them) soon got her hooked too. Now, she’s dedicated to making life’s biggest journey as great for her clients as it was for her growing up. Brooklyn’s secret? It’s all in the details. She calls it ‘organised fun’ but she promises most of the organising is on her—and most of the fun is on you!
Jessica SermonConstruction Specialist
Jessica and her husband had such a good time building their home together, she couldn’t bear to go back to real life. She was asked to fill a vacant position in her builder’s construction department and happily obliged. Though she’s not a total stranger to the industry: Jess worked in property management for 13 years where she was so well-regarded, she was once named in the Top 10 for Best New Talent in the LJ Hooker network—internationally! Now her phenomenal property (and people) skills are all ours.

Angie has over three years of experience in the industry, starting out as a Construction Liaison after a friend recommended her for the role. With a background in real estate and a Diploma in Project Management, she brings strong time management, customer service, and collaboration skills to the team. She loves the fast-paced, ever-changing nature of construction and finds it rewarding to guide clients from the start of their build through to handover.
Jasmin LacsherLand and Finance Specialist
Jasmin is the definition of a global citizen. Having moved around a lot as a kid, she’s developed a wonderful appreciation for new people, cultures, and experiences. Her curiosity is so unquenchable, she’s even found the fun in land and finance! Jasmin now works with the team, developers and conveyancers to administrate finance and settlements for our clients and partners, combining her skills as a Land and Finance Specialist to help bring their homeownership dreams to life.
